Metro station
+ Recycle station

Oslo, Norway

Second-year course / AHO, spring 2018

The project is a proposal for a new metro station in a public park in Oslo. Glass-cladded steel boxes connect the ground and underground levels and carry people and light between the levels.

The station is constructed using a cut-and-cover method, and the sheet pile wall defines the outer perimeter of the project. The light boxes function as recognisable navigation elements and illuminate the station with a mix of daylight and artificial light, making the travel experience more pleasant.
